accessing metahuman from unreal (not sample)

i’m brand new to this and have no idea what i’m doing. The other day, i used chatgpt to tell me how to install unreal, metahuman, and houdini. but the thing is, i was able to create a metahuman, but didn’t remember how to do it and when i tried to figure it out again, it told me that free licenses haven’t been able to access that for a long time, and that i was probably editing a sample project, but i absolutely was not. i had all of the controls etc. all of the plugins are installed, and the only thing i have is metahuman manager under the windows dropdown. i don’t have it in the content drawer either. what is going on guys, how do i get into it? thanks in advance

Not sure exactly what you mean by ‘metahuman manager in windows dropdown’ - one important aspect is to add the ‘MetaHuman Creator Core Data’ in the engine settings.

Things changed from a web-based workflow recently, so older tutorials may no longer be relevant.

This doc should be up to date though.
