Accessing Bluetooth Smart


I already posted this to the UE4 subreddit, but I thought that you guys will probably be able to help too:
How to receive data from Bluetooth Smart and make it available in UE4?

I’m also interested in best practices on how to integrate custom backends (like Bluetooth Smart) into the engine. Is there a good way to do that multiplatform?
