Accessed None trying to read property CallFunc_Create_ReturnValue

I’m receiving the following error on my Main Menu:

Blueprint Runtime Error: “Accessed None trying to read property CallFunc_Create_ReturnValue”. Node: Add to Viewport Graph: EventGraph Function: Execute Ubergraph PC Main Menu Blueprint: PC_MainMenu

The error doesn’t seem to be causing any issues. I’m looking to understand why this is happening please.

Are you testing in dedicated server mode ?

Event BeginPlay executes on both client and server. But creating widget is not meant for server (hence the display icon on the node).

To avoid creating widgets on the wrong machines (and generate errors), add branch with a “is local controller” or “is locally controlled” check.

Also, it sounds like you are in a PlayerController blueprint. Why use GetPlayerController(0) to access controller? Just use Self.

I was testing in PIE as Client.
