Access to store via API

Dear Epic Games Developer Support Team,

My name is Karol. I am developing an application designed to collect and monitor information about games and price offers across multiple digital distribution platforms, including the Epic Games Store.

The goal of the application is to aggregate all available titles, identify missing or newly released games, and periodically check current prices to notify users about significant promotions and deals.

I would like to inquire about the possibility and technical requirements for accessing an official API or any authorized data feed for the Epic Games Store catalog. Specifically:

  1. Does Epic Games provide a public or partner API that allows retrieving a list of all games available on the Epic Games Store, along with pricing and offer details?

  2. What are the authentication requirements (API keys, OAuth, etc.) and rate limits, if applicable?

  3. Is bulk data retrieval for aggregation and re-display within my own application permitted? What are the licensing or commercial usage restrictions?

  4. Is there any mechanism for receiving updates (e.g., webhooks, push notifications) when new titles or promotions are added, or is polling required?

  5. Could you please share relevant technical documentation (available endpoints, data formats, etc.) and describe the process to request access (e.g., partner program or API registration)?

If there is no publicly available API, I would appreciate any information about potential partnership opportunities or formal agreements that would allow programmatic access to your catalog and pricing data.

I am happy to provide additional details about my application, including expected request volume, caching strategy, and usage plans (testing vs. production).

Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I look forward to your response and any guidance you can provide regarding the next steps.

Best regards,
Karol Narowski
