Absolute novice

I am looking for tutelage. I have never operated this platform before, or anything like it, and every time I crack the software open I end up quitting in a rage because even the most rudimentary of basics elude me. I have tried all of the online videos and each of them has come up short in one way or another - either a step missing due to being based on an older version of the software, or a basic step being missed entirely, or whatever.

I am happy to pay someone, like, an hourly rate to patiently guide me through navigating and mastering the basics, because I’d really like to get good at this. I have so many film ideas that I could finally realise if I could get my brain wrapped around a platform like this one.

I am based in Melbourne, Australia, but happy to work via Zoom.

There are good tutorials online. Look up Matthew Wadstein, or… take a look at Udemy for some “My First Level” courses. Don’t pay full price on Udemy, you can very often get courses there much cheaper than full price. After that, look up DevAddict on Teachable.com when you have your introductory stuff completed. DevAddict shows you how to set up projects from scratch - but not really for absolute beginners. Wish you well. I’m in Perth

There is Unreal Academy, that has high quality tutorials to get you started.
