About UE4 to UE5

To the people of Unreal Engine,

A while ago, I have installed UE4, but I started to wonder if it wasn’t better
to start/install UE5. Because the UE5 tutorials give more possibilities.
Now I regret the UE4 install and started to procrastinate with learning UE4.
So, how does this work? I uninstall UE4 en install UE5?
Is it that simple or does it work differently?

You can have both installed.

Both engines are broadly similar, and you should be able to convert a 4 project to 5.

If you want to use any marketplace assets and plugins, it’s probably better to stick with 4.
