About productivity

Hello,
I have a few questions about productivity.

  1. I have some complex buildings in the scene. Consisting of many different elements. Each building is in a folder. When I select a building element in the scene, for editing. The folder with the building opens in Outliner. This is very unproductive. Is it possible to prevent the directory from opening in the outliner when selecting an object in the scene?

  2. If I make a Blueprint Actor out of this instead of keeping the objects in the folder. Is this a good solution. I have read that such an object takes more memory and resources than separate objects.

  1. Migration. If I migrate some assets to another project. And we have such a case, that in this project I have assets with the same names in the same directory structure, but with changes. Will Unreal replace these assets or keep both.
  1. Click the lock icon in upper right. You can also have multiple content browsers open.

  2. No need to make a BP for this purpose.

  3. You will get a dialogue box that ask what you want to do on a file by file basis. But of course, don’t take my word for it. It is too easy to make a test project and see for yourself.

Thank you,
3. Yes I will do the test.
