I was recently introduced to programming and game design with lyra start game.
I found that I had to use gas to do what I needed, giving all sorts of extra properties through the property construction of GAS.
Things like: Stun, blinding, disarming, time dilation modifier, Dodging, attacks of various attributes (fire attacks double damage to grass defenses, etc.), armor, resistance, magic immunity, and so on all of which I want to expand.
But c++ is so new to me that I looked up how GAS added stun on youtube and found nothing. Finally, I found a UE4 project in google, which has vertigo attribute. I want to learn it later.
But is this really the best way? Finally, can this vertigo really be implemented in my own project? It’s done. Is that the best way to do it? Is this learning path simply wrong? Maybe there’s a place that has a more comprehensive system? And so on.
So I’ve asked some of the best players here to give me some valuable tips on stats: how to get more stats, or if there are more places along the route to learn Make-believe (like the official website, the official forum, youtube).
