I added a character animation track in the Level Sequencer and set Pre/Post Roll Frames for the animation, but I’m seeing unexpected behavior.
Engine : 5.5.4
Total animation frames: 100
Animation section in Level Sequencer: 50 frames
Post Roll Frames: 30
According to the documentation ( Cinematic Animation Track in Unreal Engine | Unreal Engine 5.6 Documentation | Epic Developer Community
), the Post Roll Frames should maintain the last frame of the animation during that range.
So, I expected the animation to play up to frame 50 and then stay paused at that last frame for the 30 post-roll frames.
However, the animation continues playing from frame 0 to frame 80 instead.
Is this a bug, or am I misunderstanding how this feature works?
Additionally, I noticed that the Post Roll Frame visualization in the Sequencer appears differently in some cases.
What causes this difference in how the Post Roll section is displayed?
