Not quite the same as [SOLVED] Abort “Colorize” and points disappeared but may be related.
I’ve had a few occasions where I’ve tried to abort the colorize step and it seems to get stuck.
CPU usage drops to 0 but interface still shows aborting in progress.
Can minimise the aborting progress and select other interface elements (but obviously not do anything)
Attempting to exit RC prompts to abort colorize processing (but remains stuck)
Sometimes (usually with Draft colourize) the colourise step completes even though the abort progress is displayed.

It happened to me yesterday, too - after hitting the Draft, as well as Draft Colorize, button the process could not be aborted.
Colorize gets stuck, no other way than kill process in Process Explorer. Same problem as described.
I’ve been trying for second day and couldn’t get past colorize step, using small test of 20 photographs previously tested and successfully produced 3d model in other soft. Using Dell Precision M6700 Quadro K5000M.
Hi Milan UDIR
So you have a 20 img dataset and cannot COLORIZE it ? or you run colorize and cancel it ??
I can’t colorize neither cancel it.
it just sits there with no apparent progress. I let it run for 2 hours, nothing. Try to abort, nothing. I can minimize the progress but nothing else, so have to terminate it in ProcExplorer. It’s just a small batch. ??
Hi Milan UDIR
Do you have the latest GPU drivers installed for the Quadro card? As very often this is the problem with Quadro cards…
Cleaned and reinstalled nVidia drivers but problem persists. I remember having to add some lines in After Effects config files, so yes quadro in my experience can be picky. On the contrary to my expectations as being ‘pro’ and $$$.
I have locked my license for next 4 days to this notebook afterwards moving to a normal desktop. Anyway any help welcome.
I cannot manage to abort texturing today, cannot even end the task in the system task manager, restarting PC (cold) for the second time…
It’s only intermittent for me. Running 3gb K4000.
