Ability to retake IARC questionnaire for a Version that failed content review

When submitting my first real game for review, Inception, I incorrectly filled out IARC (cuz this is my first combat map). The version failed moderation, however I am unable to resubmit the version that failed. I have to make an entirely new private code to resubmit. AND I have to refill out everything I initially filled out, so if I never persisted the information elsewhere all that work on the island metadata must be redone from scratch.

Being able to at least resubmit a private version for moderation when the moderation failure is related to metadata would be a huge Quality of Life improvement. As well as just remembering metadata in some way, shape, or form from any failed attempts.

Also the response was a generic “content within island” with no clarity in what exactly failed the review. I don’t know if the failed review because of a violence related issue or a communication based issue in the ratings system.

I am in the same situation. No idea what so ever why it failed. Wouldnt even know where to start. They suggested a Pegi 3 for my map but Fortnite is generally a Pegi13 game

Agreed that the workflow is not ideal.

First thing to check is to make sure you’re putting the correct answers to the ‘interactive elements’ questions.

Beyond that there are a few youtube videos that will help with answers. I think general recommendation is to put ‘Cartoon/Unrealistic Violence’ + ‘often depicted from up close’.
