Hi There!!
This is my new Roots generator. It generates roots inside a curve which is shaped by Empties in Viewport, so you can just move the empties to shape the roots in any form. there also an empty for roots starting point which you can replace with your tree trunk or any object in controls un der shape section.
Controls are organized in Panel in Modifiers panel which means you need blender version 4.1+ to run the project file. There are more than 40 controls all organized in sections. there is also debug controls options to visualize it better.
