Ah, yea in this case you’d need to export the .fbx and then recreate the control rig if you want to do your own custom animations. Or you can head over to quote.ironbellystudios.com and send over a request as we’d be more than happy to take care of those for you. Cheers
The fire animations on the XM8 and SKAR is the same as the idle animation just less frames, as the ejector does not open and the trigger does not move, I expect this was overlooked and will be fixed or was this intentional?
If you setup the xm8 to use the included Animation BP that bullet goes away I assume into the chamber. I thought it would be used in the fire animation (cartridge ejected from weapon) but as I said the fire animations don’t do anything.
The trigger is going to be fixed, the ejector on these two guns is scheduled to be fixed down the road as well. Regarding the ejected cartridge, we find that best to be handled via a particle system that uses the casing as a mesh, but this wasn’t something we have had the time to setup and include in the mesh at this point but I’ve added it to our list of things to do so it will definitely get setup down the road… Thanks again for your suggestions
There is the same problem with the AKS74u and its fire animation, there is no moving trigger or ejector.
Sounds good. I figured the ejector or slide w/e you call it would take just a bit longer as there was no bone for it , was thinking the same thing regarding the ejected cartridge as well

We’ve heard feedback from folks who want to buy our weapons in packs (instead of individually) and so we’ve been working hard to get more variety packs up on the Marketplace. Could you possibly expand on this a little bit? I’ve purchased one pack so far and I love it, and I was planning to buy all of them next week.
But just like I need to be able to change textures or geometry, I need to be able to change or add new animations.
Isn’t this possible without recreating the control rig? If not, would you please reconsider releasing the .max files?

That’s unfortunate but I do appreciate the offer. Though in most cases it’s not so much about custom animations but smaller tweaks, and having to hire the content creators to make smaller tweaks to content packs isn’t an option for us, I’m afraid. The reason I purchased the pack instead of the ones where the weapons are static, was mostly for the hands and the animations.
In any case, I’m happy this got sorted out before I purchased any more packs. Thanks again for your time!

I know this would be a ton of work for probably a small market, but is there any chance of a classic version of the SKS? Wood grip, normal mag, no rails, etc. Not sure if this has been asked for before, but I thought I’d throw a suggestion out there. Thanks!
