A weird problem regarding the "E" Input when in-game. Changing between Hover and Interact

I’m new to UE5 so I’ll try to explain this problem as best I can.

Basically I bought this asset pack from the marketplace it came with an interactable door. But even though I could interact with the door in the map that they gave, when I import the door into my own levels It doesn’t work, because the interact key “E” has become the key to move upwards

But the thing is in their level(map), when I play their game, their controls are the standard WASD navigation but the “E” which is usually meant to move upwards is now the “interact” key, and now the spacebar is the key to move upwards. So I thought it had something to do with blueprints and the character, but the map has no character whatsoever, its just using the default “Gamemode” or something…

I hope I explained it clearly…I know this is probably the dumbest problem in the world but I’ve spent hours searching and I couldn’t find an answer…TT

I’m genuinely pretty confused but I’ll give this my best shot. Firstly, moving upwards should never be “E” or the spacebar, that is a crime. Secondly, double-check your movement inputs are all set to their defaults (basically exactly what the preset bp is). Also, migrating assets to other projects tends to screw around with values so see if you have an error somewhere. I doubt this helped but I tried

Could you tell me where I can change the default movement inputs?

Also what I meant was, you know how to navigate in Ue5 you hold the right mouse button, and then use WASD to move + “E” and “Q” to move up and down?
Basically this map that I downloaded had changed the “E” to interact instead and “spacebar” to move up

I hope that explains it better…

I could be wrong but I think you can reset all of this if you go to the “edit” tab, then under Level Ediotr, go to “Viewports”, and in the top right you can hit “set as default”
