On Quest if a Host player removes headset and didn’t increase sleep timer, or puts headset in sleep mode by pressing the side button all clients cannot do a thing in the game until the host returns.
I want the clients to detect or the host to tell the clients that the Host headset is in sleep mode. Like if the Host takes off their headset and didn’t increase timer I can’t count on that being fixed by the user or Meta/Oculus.
So if a host removes headset at all keeping in mind some users might not have the sensor enabled but still the headset will still go to sleep after set timer, then all of the clients disconnect from that host otherwise the game will freeze for all clients until host returns. I rather just remove clients for now until I can integrate Host Migration.
