A Story of Questions – Solo-Dev Narrative Horror

Hi everyone!

I’m Tim , solo developer from Germany working under the name Under the Bridge Games. After spending years creating asset packs for other developers, I’m finally working on my first full standalone title - and I’m excited to share it with the Unreal community.

Hello @YourDownfall ! Welcome back to posting with us on the forums!

It’s been a while since I’ve seen such a thrilling point and click! The attention o detail and the puzzles alone are exciting to see. You do a great job of highlighting features in your trailer that are bound to pull people in. Will we be seeing more dev work in this forum as you continue with the game?

Hey there @YourDownfall,

Hope you’re well and having a wonderful week so far

This was such a rad trailer from beginning to end. Especially all the animation effects - so well made! Will there be a demo coming out before full release?

Yes, there will be a demo

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share a quick update on the bottle shader I’m currently working on.
It’s based on a shader by Pavel Efimov, but I made a few tweaks to suit my needs. The material is now opaque, and I’m adding a fake translucency effect using a cube map placed directly within it.

The result looks much more believable in the game, without adding a heavy performance cost.
