I have some basics of Unreal Engine but it’s still very new to me, and I am figuring out how to custom a Metahuman.
I made a cloth with Marvelous Designer for a Metahuman, but every time I import the asset in Unreal, I have a problem when i convert it into a skeletal mesh.
The asset position seems good when I import it and compare it with the metahuman skeletal mesh, but when i create the skeletal mesh from the cloth, the asset is not on the same position as the skeleton . after that the weight transfer is not done well and the position of the cloth skeletal mesh on the metahuman blueprint, is changed . i think even the scale change.
I am really stuck with this issue no matter what i try.
Do you have any ideas please ? I am open to any new solution
(ps: the transform pivot seems good and changing it is not a clean solution if its even a solution..I am quite lost )
