I would like to get some advise on models if you would be so kind.
I am looking for tutorials in Maya for the following…
A) 1. The proper way to create a skeleton in Maya
2. How to import the epic skeleton properly into Maya.
B) Tut on how to attach a mesh to A1 and A2
C) Proper way to import mesh with attached skeletons from A and B into a default map in UE 4.9
ANY help would be appreciated. If it is to much trouble… drop links with help. Or, if you are inclined, please be granular in your explanations if you type something out. I am new to Maya.
B -> a skeletal mesh or a static mesh? In the UE4 you can attach meshes to sockets -> (it works nearly the same in your other bp’s)
C -> as long as you have correctly rigged your mesh, you just have to import it normally. So just import the file - in the import settings choose “import animations” and “combine meshes” - import
