A layered material / blueprint system I've been making

If you guys have any questions about it, I’d be more than happy to explain and show much more about it. It is very powerful and allows you to have far higher resolution in assets than a typical baked texture workflow, with tons more control.

Hey there @Krozjin !

I’m still wrestling with some of the UE technicalities myself, but I’m so happy to see another assistance system. Things like this make it easier for me to grasp and work with UE so to see someone making the content and providing in detail descriptions with how it works is so cool.

Can’t wait for the final product!

Really appreciate it! If there’s any part of it that you’d love to learn more about. Don’t hesitate to let me know. Eventually I’ll probably put the finished product on the Unreal Marketplace, but I have no problems explaining how different parts are setup. I’ll probably make videos for the different aspects.

One of the things I can do is not only use height blending between the layers, but also then export that combined height map to then maybe use as a displacement for nanite. So definitely will be making videos for that stuff.
