Applications are invited for a 3-year funded PhD studentship in the field of Computer Graphics and Immersive Virtual Environments starting in October 2020. The focus of the position is on modelling haptic control of hand movements using Virtual Reality technology. The position is a part of an interdisciplinary project involving researchers in Computer Graphics, Simulation, Virtual Reality and Cognitive Neuroscience. This PhD position is funded by the EPSRC, and the candidate will be supervised by Dr. Arthur Money and from the Computer Science department and Dr. Marco Davare from the Clinical Science department at Brunel University London. We encourage candidates with a strong background in linear algebra and programming (preferably using UE4 or Unity) to apply.
