Few quick questions, at our college there are 2 of us who lecture in game engines. Can we both sign up on the education page for the same college? (We usually divide the lectures between us for classes)
Can educators get a personal license? (The sign up page only says about students)
Would educators able to place commercial content on the marketplace using the educational version?
We both already have paid subscriptions to UE4 but are probably going to try placing things on the marketplace in the future. Those are just a few queries I’m having with how the whole thing works.
You to contact us separately or have one of you make requests for both of you. Whichever is simpler.
You sure can, just ask for extra accounts for yourselves when you register.
Yes, as long as all royalties are paid you can publish any content you create while using the subscription that was activated with the educational code.
Let me know if you have any questions
Update 10/7: Students can now obtain access to UE4 directly for free through our collaboration with GitHub’s Student Pack https://education.github.com/pack.
The instructors are given codes that the students redeem on their personal account pages. However, now students can obtain access to UE4 directly for free through our collaboration with GitHub’s Student Pack https://education.github.com/pack
