A few questions about Datasmith runtime behavior

Hello everyone,

I’m new to Unreal world and I need some help or direction with Datasmith.
I need to build an architectural app that basically imports models from Revit, and let the users change some stuff in real-time.

  1. I need to download and load a 3D model dynamically, should I use Datasmith runtime right?
  2. is it possible to change the model and save the .datasmith file in runtime and upload it? and then re-import it with the changes?
  3. does the runtime “version” contains all the functionality described on the editor? like all the metadeta from Revit and textures and everything?
