I have been testing RC for a bit and I have a few questions
- Is it possible in any version of RC to render multiple scans at once? Like how you can have multiple chunks in Agisoft
- Is it possible to lower the poly count that RC renders at? I tried messing with the image downscale but this just made a really lumpy looking model that still was around 2.5 mil polys. I know you can simplify after but we’re looking to reduce the rendering time.
- If not, will the “Start” button have more options, like including simplify as part of it? It seems silly to have part of the process batched but then I have to simplify and re texture manually.
Thank you for your time

RC CLI and RC allows batch processing. Rendering more 3D views at once is possible only on more computers at the same time.

Reconstruction tab / Settings / Geometry calculation / Normal mode settings / Vertices count per part

Change it under the VERTICES PER PART, the other setting, DETAIL DECIMATION FACTOR from 1.0 to something higher, say 2 – 3, and test a smaller part of the model so that you can see the results.
