A beginner's question about making horror VR video

Hello.

I want to ask you a question that might seem very silly, so please forgive me. I’m a video editor and I mostly use DaVinci Resolve. I want to create a VR video that will be no longer than 3 minutes.

For example, like the one in this link:

I’m just a user of VR technology. What I want to ask is this:

From my research, I understand there are two ways to do this.

1- Renting a VR camera, like Insta 36, and doing a real-time shoot like this for 3 minutes in a real location, then editing it. However, for this, I would need a very fancy house, meaning art and decor, and unfortunately, this would exceed my budget.

2- Get a horror room template and edit it.

For this, I downloaded Unreal Engine. I also found a few horror room templates in the store section. But my problem is, I don’t know where to start.

So, when I purchase a room or house template I like and open it in Unreal, how can I set up camera movements like in the example video? I don’t want to see hands.

The person will put on the headset and just watch for 3 minutes. They won’t hold or touch anything. They’ll just watch the video.

If I could figure out where to start, I believe I could complete it by researching.
But I don’t know what the first spark should be.

In short, I need a roadmap. Then I can learn as I go.

If you could give me a few steps on how to do this using a template, like in that Conjuring video, I’d be very happy.
