The new Fab market place is awful. No comments, reviews etc but for me the worst is the fact that 80% of the Unreal page other than featured items are AI audio. Even when I choose no AI?
I now have to scroll through 100’s of listings just to find anything other than AI audio. You can’t even filter just the audio out of the search.
Why do these big companies always make things worse.
I’d agree with you. But this is mostly the fault of just some guy trying to earn some quick cash. Although, there’s nothing stopping Epic from fine-tuning the filters or adding more options for us to report mislabeled content
there are sellers like this that are creating AI conent without marking it as so. This is cheating and flood the market with low content stuff

Well, at least this rules out music as a trustworthy genre on Fab. But the price differences on some of them are kind of insane
Why do you say that? All of categories are doing that in some way.
Because with the 3D models and 2D assets,one can easily rule something out as an potential liability with just an glance at it. But with audio, we’re essentially going into this blind outside of the free previews that’s hosted on YouTube and we have no idea if it’s an legally sound decision to use AI-generated music for commercial use.
As with the tiered pricing, most of the time, it’s not an issue. But it comes off as being overly ambitious, in some cases.
