I’ve been experimenting a bit with version 5.8.
A week ago, during my initial tests, I couldn’t get anything done. The software would crash the moment I made the slightest move. Now—mysteriously—it seems stable and isn’t crashing.
But that’s not the main point.
I’m really enjoying the new cursor/gizmo. The “paddles” for bidirectional movement are a great touch.
However, I feel like mouse cursor precision suffers a bit because of it.
I don’t know if others have experienced this, but I often find myself having to click multiple times. In fact, even before clicking, I notice that—despite the cursor arrow being positioned directly over the button I want to click—the button doesn’t always highlight.
Has anyone else run into similar issues?
