5.6 GASP animation bugs

Hi everyone,

I’ve been testing this project and noticed a few recurring issues with the character animations:

When walking at normal speed and attempting to climb a 2m wall, the character grabs onto an invisible ledge, climbs into the air, and then drops onto the block a couple of seconds later.

When playing custom montages that I imported, the animations sometimes feel unnatural, and in certain cases, the character floats in the air.

These bugs make traversal and custom animation playback feel off. I haven’t seen others bring this up yet, but I’m sure I’m not the only one who has encountered them.

Is this a known issue, and are there any fixes or recommended workarounds?

I have noticed this too. Also when the character climbs the legs twitch. This also happens in 5.7 . Mover seems a bit better. Sometimes the legs swirld around after the montage plays. I belive its the animation curvers that release foot IK. Once the montage has completed they will turn the foot IK back on. Hence the pop. As for the floating and grabbing of invisible ledge this may stem from a mismatch between the height of the animation and the block. Has anyone addressed these two issues? I have been unable to fix either.
