As the title says, I can only make my vr proyect run if I’m wearing my Oculus Quest 3 VR visor while launching. Trying to leave it off while launching it on the editor or uploading it via Sidequest or any apk installing apps will only result on it being stuck on the loading screen. I’ve tried many things, like an enable HMD node, bStartInBackground=True and bAutoEnabled=True on the DefaultEngine ini file. This is making my developement times way too long and right now I’m out of ideas currently. Using UE5.4.4, Meta XR 71.0.
Mine does the same, but I have figured out that it is because the headset goes to sleep when I am not wearing it.
I always put my hand infront of the screen, until I hear it starting) when I run the project (if I don’t need to or feel like wearing it)
Found the solution. Whomever is having this problem, you must specifically install it via the Meta Quest Developer Hub. It’s the only way I have found for it to work, since the launch will only deploy if the visor is weared
