I’m working in unreal 4.18.0 on window 7 and my soundcard is Creative SOUND BLASTER Z. I can’t seem to be getting the audio from unreal to be routed to the the correct speakers. Original sound source is a 5.0 wav file. For testing, I made a duplicate of center channel file as the LFE channel file. Then I named the six mono files using the extensions explained in the documentation.(_fl,_fr,_lf,_sr,_sl,_fc). For some reason the front center mono wav file seems to be routed to the side right speaker since only low frequency sound comes out. Other speakers also play sound but the panning sounds quite weird.
The 5.0 wav file can be played normally in windows. And this problem didn’t exist in unreal 4.15 until our project update to 4.18. I attached the files I’ve tested, would be appreciated if anyone could help.
