5.1 Landscape and World Position Offset

Hey,

I put a heightmap into the World Position Offset:

Of my Landscape. Problem: It looks like this when unselected in viewport (constant flickering):

But fine when selected in viewport:

My questions:

  1. Is World Position Offset intended to work with Landscapes anyhow? If so, what might I do wrong?
  2. What does technically/render wise change if I select something in viewport? Is there a workaround like telling the engine in-game: “It’s selected”?

Fixed it. I had to increase values of “Negative Z Bounds Extension” and “Positive Z Bounds Extension” in Landscape options (in my case 200).
