5.1.1 TSR

First of all and most annoying is TSR Ghosting in 5.1
Same project settings

Here’s 5.1

Here’s 5.0

Could you fix this cause now we are not sure what version we should use.

Feel free to post what encounter you guys

Yes, ghosting and artefacts in 5.1.1 but not in 5.1.0.

I hope a fix is coming.

Did you find a workaround for this? It even happens on materials with a simple panning node, it’s horrible.

What I find odd is the TSR has ghosting problems no matter what version or setting I used. Objects that move leave a smear on the background, or when you move the camera the objects closest to the viewport smear on the background. And when you rotate an object , the background smears on the object for at least 1.5 seconds.

5.1’s cinematic TSR has been the only way to reduce the ghosting vaseline smear on backgrounds to an acceptable standard for my game. But the rotation smear bug has still not fixed and cinematic TSR also eats 4.56ms on 1080p :frowning:

I suggest making a post in the feedback section of Unreal. TSR is better than DLSS and DLAA in terms of not leaving serious colored ghosting on further objects when the camera moves.

What I did is build 5.1.0 from the source, 5.1.0 don’t have this issue, or at least I did not notice it because it’s very settle

I found that 5.1.1 is the problem, i build the engine from source 5.1.0 and it solved for me.
The Dlss is great but for far moving objects on high contrast background leaves some trail
