Unreal 5.1.1, Live Link File Importer, Metahuman.
I have a metahuman with body mocap and a file imported using the Live Link file importer. I’ve brought the file into the sequence as a subsequence and when playing the timeline everything works exactly as expected. However, when trying to render out the sequence using movie render the face mocap does not play in the output files - unless I set properties / speed to 100, in which case it looks like it’s playing at 100x. Lower increments don’t work either. Live Link is showing green when I play.
I feel like I’m making a stupid mistake. All suggestions appreciated.
Hi, did you have any solution to this I have the same issue.
You can always right click on the blueprint of your metahuman and bake the animation out, I’m trying to find a way around that though.
I’m having a similar problem for a subsequence I made with a virtual camera actor. Alembic cache is delayed or not even visible in rendering, but visible in viewport. Did you find any solution?
Still looking (sorry, didn’t get a notification of post). I tried baking the face to an animation track from sequencer and this works, but it loses head rotations. I can imagine with full body mocap this might be useful, but it’s not so great when you want a head and shoulder shot only.
I’m having this issue as well although my animations are baked to the face control rig. I’m not sure if it’s because the mocap framerate is different than the sequence, or because the keyframes are located on subframes. I’ve had intermittent luck with moving or extending the subsequences, but I still can’t nail down what is the cause of the issue.
