5.0 problem selecting new foliage type converted from static mesh

i converted a static mesh into a foliage type by dragging it in , i can paint with the foliage and erase it but it will not let me select it to move them around individually - the quixel asset grass works 100% , its only the static mesh i converted that will not select . in foliage editor any help be amazing thank you ! i am using ue5 early access [5-0]
