[5.0.3 - Windows 11 Pro 64] - ZIP Exported Projects Are Not Loading Properly When Imported To Another Desktop?

Hi,

Running a brand new SFF thin client desktop with Window 11 Pro 64Bit.
(actually running Manjaro Linux on main desktop and VNC into the new thin client with Win 11)
I ZIP compressed a project from the old Windows desktop and copied the ZIP to new desktop.
(the ZIP was created from within UE5 IDE)

I decompressed ZIP into UE5 project folder and it did show in project browser of Epic Game Launcher.
I loaded the project into UE5 and it seemed to load OK.
Only initial issue was my custom Blueprint is not there?

Any ideas?
(I bought a Udemy course on UE5/C++ and was halfway through a long tutorial section)

Let me know…

Ok, so something wrong there - I just noticed some boxes are missing from the project too.

I tried another finished Udemy tutorial I finished and it was 100% complete.

I tried a third project I compressed and it won’t even load?
(see below screenshots)

Any ideas? - we are new to UE5 and this is not a great way to start

Hi…

I booted up the old desktop with the original projects.
All three work 100%.

Little lost here on how to “properly” transfer an UE5 project from one computer to another…

Hi…

OK…I copied the entire folder contents of all 3 projects and they now work on the other desktop.
Is ZIP export broken on Unreal Engine 5 v5.0.3 ??
