Hello, i am planing to build an apartment and i want to have a virtual tour made with UE4. Does any of you have done that before? Have you got any examples of your work and i wondering how much it would cost to me. Sorry for mistakes. I am really impressed what i have seen on Youtube. And looking for someone to actually make it for my project.
I’ve not really done it commercially yet but I would say expect to pay no less than 6000$. And it can raise quickly if you want a lot of interactivity.
I’ve done this one a while ago. Not representative of the quality I can do now since we discovered new techniques since then. This one does not really contain interactivity but a video and playable .exe that works on pc!
Hi,
Your recorded game has nice smooth camera movement. How did you control this? How can you also control the speed of the real time movement?. Can you please share you work flow for saving the video? Did you export as frames and composite in another application?
Thanks for any advice.
I think I’ve used the Archvis character on this one (a smoother and slower version of the fps character) and I recorded with nvidia shadowplay with my gtx 980. Basically I the game with the matinee (now sequencer) starting on level load. I disabled texture streaming to avoid any lightmap popping and I pressed my record button. Gives a lightweight h.264 video file that you can edit in premiere pro or similar software after that. If you have a gtx 6xx or newer nvidia card, shadowplay is hardware accelerated. 0 performance hit on recording.
Thanks for the response. I will check into this. I have a GTX 970. I did get smoother recorded play back using an xbox controller as well.
Did you find someone to build your apartment? If not we might be interested. What sort of interactivity are you looking for? Did you have a budget in mind?
Budgets vary around the world, but for the best quality, fast delivery, rendered video and images, custom furniture, you might expect to pay anywhere from $3,000-$10,000. Check out our website for some (older) examples. Updated site coming soon.
