Detailed description of the issue:
Cross on input line close windows instead of clear input text field.

Screenshots/Link to video: It will be provided by request.

Reproduction steps:

  1. Create a new blank project.
  2. Create actor BP.
  3. Open blueprint choosing menu by right click.
  4. Start something typing and than press X sight in input line.
  5. Make sure that cross close all window instead of clean input line.

Frequency: 100%

Expected behavior:
Cross button should clean text line like it do in content browser.

I’m having difficulty reproducing this. Can you post a screen shot?

I know at least two way for closing this submenu, but no one for cleaning text field.

Hi ,

Thanks for reporting the bug of Pressing “X” to clear text field results in closing window instead. Also, thanks for posting an image for clarification. I have reported this as JIRA [UE-19944]. When this issue is fixed we will add an update to this post.

This has been reported fixed for a near future version of the Engine.
