LOD is working for static mesh and others, but skinned mesh always load the lowest level mesh. A bug?

So far I have been unable to reproduce the effect you are describing. Could you take a look at the sample project below from 4.8 P2 and let me know if you have a setup different than in the project. Feel free to add to this project for a reproduction and re-upload.
