[4.8] Frontend custom launch profiles don't launch

Branch: Source build from github
Build Version: 4.8.0 changlist 2478413, with PS4 sdk and ps4 required files installed and unreal frontend recompiled.

My custom launch profiles don’t launch, even though they are set up the same as they were in 4.7. Hovering over the ! launch icon just leaves a blank tooltip.

Are you still seeing this issue in the 4.8 preview 1 that was released yesterday?

I think the issue has been resolved according to the 4.8 I am running (4.8 Promoted 2493094). I can now launch a custom profile again. I don’t have the 4.8 preview but given the age of my 4.8 build I would expect it to be working in preview as well now, thanks.

I’m trying to upgrade my project and I’m having this same problem in the 4.8 release source build. I’m building a dedicated server, all settings are the same as 4.7.5 where it worked fine. When I hover over the ! launch icon I get a blank tool tip as well. Very frustrating with the blank tool tip and all, anyone have any ideas?

This issue is now back for me in 4.8 release source built as well :frowning: The non-custom profiles, including for my ps4 target do not show the exclamation mark.

Ok so it appears to be the “Only cook modified content” option that causes the problem for me. As soon as I uncheck that option it works fine. Maybe this will work for you to aguycalleddave, i notice in the pics you have that option checked as well.

That was it, can’t believe I didn’t spot that. When you only cook modified content it won’t let you launch a ps4 profile.
