4.8 Build error > runUAT.bat ERROR ? ( builds fine in 4.76)

Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place.

I just tested my project in 4.8 (the 4.76 build is fine) . I installed Microsoft Visual Studio (4.8 asked for this) , which seemed to install fine. I am now unable to build and get this error log, any Ideas?

I also tried this on a fresh scene ( 3d scroller template) It failed to build as well :frowning:

? Can’t find Launch folder and “PCLaunch.rc.res” file ?

I am not sure this is related but the Launcher folder gets blown away when I do a build? Is this normal ? Keep in mind I am only trying to build a default scene with 4.8 , I am using the 3d scroller template for the test.

[CL 2591833 by Matthew Griffin in 4.8 branch]

I assume that commit will fix your “PCLaunch.rc.res” issue, and the fix will be available in 4.8.1.

(I guess I’m reading way too many commit messages lately. )
