I ran across a bug today while importing a new static mesh. I always import a mesh into UE4, place inlevel, and tweak the size. Once I get the final size, I re-export back from Maya so that I can keep a 1.0 scale inside of UE4. I usually just hit the “Re-import” option to update the mesh. However, its not working anymore.
It does make you think it works, as it will scale up in the static mesh editor, but when you drag the mesh into the world, its still its Original Import size, not the newly re-imported size.
Also, if you leave the static mesh editor and restart, its back small. I have to now delete the static mesh or bring in under a new name.
