Well I’m not going to be much help finding/reporting issues w/ this preview because I can’t even open my project without a crash…

Was this project newly created or did you have it in p6? Additionally, what steps did you take before your crash or was it crashing immediately after updating?
Yes its my ongoing project I’ve had the whole preview cycle. I updated to p7 and it loads other projects just fine, but my main project crashes just trying to load up, I never even see the editor window before it dies.
If you could, go into your project filepath and try removing the contents folder, then attempt to load back into the project and see if it still crashes.
It came up as an if it was a brand new project doing that. FYI, This project was using the integrated git.
Ok the good news is that means the project is specific to content and that it isn’t corrupted. The next step may take a little bit, but take everything out of the contents folder and put the empty contents folder back in, then slowly add your other folders back, starting with your maps. This will help to determine where the crash is occurring so I can more adequately assist you.
Through a very painful process of elimination it appears that it’s crashing on some of the paper2dsprites JSON files that had been imported. Here’s a spritesheet/flipbook combo, although it doesn’t have the individual sprites, so it might not load at all for you.

Well I sent you my project and never heard back, but if appears this crash was fixed in preview 8, so no worries!

I apologize for not getting back to you sooner, there have been averse weather conditions here at the office which caused some amount of frustration over the last few days. I am happy to hear that you are no longer experiencing this crash, however. If this does occur again please comment back and I’ll be more than happy to download the files you sent (they are still in my inbox) and take a look at what may be occurring.
