[4.7.4]Android Platform link error

I’m using 4.7.3 before and everything goes smooth. When I upgraded to 4.7.4, I found that Android Platform wouldn’t build, it emits a lots of link and undefined reference errors:

Howdy eros,

Thank you for reporting this issue. I am going to need a bit of additional information from you before I begin looking into this issue. Would you be using a source build or binary build of UE4? Would you be able to replicate this issue on a blank template project? If so, would you be able to provide the steps on how you were able to repro this so that I can test this internally?

Could you also attach your full build log to this post?

Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and have a great day!

Howdy eros,

Just wanted to check in with you and see if this error was still occurring. If so, could you provide the additional information asked for in the comment above?

Thanks!

Hi Sean, sorry for the late reply. I’m using source build from github, after I test it out for several times, I found that this issue only happens when I run Setup.bat that update ThirdParty binarys(I delete all old stuffs and unzip source file then run Setup.bat to start from scratch).

I also have a early version ThirdParty package backuped from 4.7.3 after running Setup.bat, if I use this package everything seems fine. My be I shouldn’t update ThirdParty binarys after a hotfix source update? Thanks a lot.

Thank you for the information that you have provided. Would you also be able to attach your full build log so that I may be able to pinpoint this error?

Hi eros,

Are you still seeing this error? Were you able to locate your build log for the failed build? Here are the instructions for locating logs if you need them.

I’m sorry, I don’t have a log anymore cause I deleted everything. Now I using a thirdparty package that backuped from 4.7.3 and it works fine with 4.7.5

Howdy eros,

Since the error is no longer occurring for you since updating your build, I am going to mark this issue as being resolved. If you run into this error is a future release or project, please be sure to reopen this issue so that we may be able to further investigate.

Thanks and have a great day!
