I can deploy to my kindle fire in unreal 4.3, but in 4.4 the device does not appear in the launch menu. It does however, appear in the device manager as connected.
Make sure you’re 4.4 project has Android as a build option. In the project settings you can set what any given project is compatible with, this might be the issue. How did you get the 4.4 project, did you do a copy, a convert in place? Also which Kindle Fire is it?
My project is configured for android if that is what you mean. I copied it when I updated the version. My kindle fire is the Kindle Fire HD.
