[4-27] Metahuman Animation Baking Problem

Hi, I’ve created a metahuman animation with the control rig, then exported it to bake a dress in marvelous designer. However, when i assign the baked animation to a new blueprint the pose is slightly different, so the dress doesn’t match anymore ( it matches on the level with the non-baked animation). How can i solve that? Thanks

4.27 has some issues with this, mesh of the metahuman are changing while baking. There are several other posts about this, no reply yet…

No I believe it’s just 4.27 works ok in 4.26

The problem is that i made different poses with the same metahuman, but then exported the animations with the correct preview mesh to bake the cloth sim that now isn’t matching :frowning:

Is this an animation you have imported from Marvelous or a single frame, if it’s an animation with alembic cache I always have to drop the cache a frame back one

it’s a single frame, plus if I export to blender everything looks fine. I believe it’s something related to the skeleton retargeting but i tried every option and still the animation has problems

in 4.26 it works fine for me

I made another project in 4.26, gave me the same error. Exported the animation in Blender and made the compositing there
