4.25 to 4.27 migration killing cinematic playback performance?

Hey all, running into a weird problem. I have recently migrated a large project from 4.25 to 4.27. In the level, there are flat planes playing back large sequencer mp4 video textures via cinematics. In 4.25 I’m getting a healthy 60fps playback, with all the video in the ‘tv’s’ in the scene synchronized together. After migrating to 4.27, the same project literally gets less than 10fps, and often the playback is out of sync. Tried this on both RTX and non-RTX cards. Same thing happens in Lit and Unlit modes.

Any thoughts?

if you’re using raytracing in 4.27 it’s pretty expensive
