With the implementation of the new Media Framework system, when a texture hasn’t begun to play, the default color for it now is white, whereas before it was black. Not ideal for a TV screen!
if you just open project after upgrade its broken. you have to remake the texture for it to work.
also for media texture (the red one) make sure clear color is set proper:
yep! I’m using the new Media Texture and the properties by default look like what you have there. Interestingly enough, it looks like in game the default color is black, but it stays white in the editor. Strange, but doesn’t look like it’ll be a problem.
