4.17 - ARkit fails to launch on device (windows)


I get this error any time I try to launch on device from the Editor. It works fine if I disable the ARKit plugin:

LogPlayLevel: UnrealBuildTool: ERROR: Failed to start local process for action (“Cannot start process because a file name has not been provided.”): -o BatchMode=yes ${CURRENT_USER}@ “cd “/” && xcode-select --print-path”

To reproduce:

  1. Create a blank bp project. Mobile,Scalable 3d, No starter content
  2. Activate Arkit plugin
  3. Launch on device (iOS)


this requires a mac to compile. there are some workarounds though…
