I opened up a project from 4.13 in 4.14, but if I enter a UMG “Menu”, I can’t use the enter- or space-key anymore to “click” on buttons. It worked in 4.13.
I can still click with mouse and “gamepad face button bottom” but the enter key is not working properly anymore. Enter now kinda behaves like an OnPressed event, but it doesnt get released anymore.
I read through the umg notes for 4.14, but there’s no mention of something like that.
Is this intended, or a bug, or am I doin something wrong?
I just noticed this as well which is definitely a regression and I hope it gets considered for a hotfix as this is also something the end-users will notice since it completely breaks keyboard navigation. The issue here is that the OnClicked event is no longer called for keyboard buttons.
I noticed the same behavior on editor dialogs:
In 4.13 I could change something on the map, click on the “Save All” button and confirm the default “Save selected” option by pressing Enter.
When I press Enter in 4.14, the “Save selected” button appears to be in its pressed-down state, but nothing happens until I actually do a mouse click on that button.
