4.11.2 will not install. I have checked to see if i need to install any new updates for windows but this doesn’t seem to be the case. To be specific, it installs the 4.11.2 version but then when after it has verified it the launcher then tells me that it fails to install pre-requisites. Is there anything i could possibly do to fix this issue?
Do you have any restrictions over or on your network or for any settings in your computer?
I know if their are “predetermined enforcement’s” from how the computer or network is setup can cause this.
(Have experienced the exact “failed to install per-requisites” problem before, currently a student and the computer setup in my place of work restricts from updating or installing unreal versions or the actual epic games launcher itself. Simply because our ICT team have put up a ‘global firewall’ for everything, so to install or update anything you have to go through them.)
Check for anything that would ‘hinder’ anything from unreal or the epic games launcher maybe settings, software or systems that simply dont agree with it. Or maybe you have ‘checked a box’ you shouldn’t of, that is denying it to install or update anything.
Hope this helps
