Both the pre-release and release notes state that 4.1 brings P4HOST masquerading (which is necessary for some sites, such as Assembla, that use P4HOST to distinguish individual projects rather than individual hosts). However, the P4 connection GUI doesn’t have a field for this. Is there anywhere in particular that this information is supposed to be entered?
I’d like to know the answer to this as well. Where can we set the P4HOST value if it’s not in the GUI?
A team member just figured it out. There is a down arrow to expand the connection window further, which has the host field. It didn’t stand out enough to notice right away, but glad to have that out of the way now instead of using P4V.
I missed that too and through it was broken. Thanks for the post clearing it up.
